New - "Natural Pack" Tray Pack Oysters

Last fall, innovative oysterman Dave Nisbet introduced his new packaging for shucked oyster meats, the "Natural Pack", under the "Goose Point" brand. The oyster meats are being packaged in light weight, easy to open plastic trays. The new label features high color graphics, and recipes under the lid. The packaging allows the oyster meats to lay flat, as they do in their own shell, giving the consumer great visibility of the product, and increased merchandising area for the retailer. A film seal over the tray gives enhanced tamper proof protection, and the containers are freezer and microwave safe, reusable and recyclable. The containers come in 8 and 10 ounce sizes, and are packaged in cases of 6 or 12 trays per case. They are available in select markets now. Ask your local retailer about it!!
